I have always been into making crafts -- from knitting when I was about 8 years old, making cross-stitch, tapestry, quilted toys, quilts, etc.  It even surprised me when I got into making jewelry though.  I was asked to come to a brown-bag lunch to learn how to make a bracelet.  It all escalated from there!  When I had so much jewelry I didnt know what to do with it, a good friend of mine suggested bringing it into work to show and sell it.  I thought she was a bit "touched" and told her no one would buy it...but to my surprise, everyone loved it and started buying my one of a kind jewelry pieces.  After being told I could no longer sell it at work, I started doing craft shows and that is how it took off from there.  I still do art and craft shows and now my on-line business.
